Today’s craft was a paper plate shark. The children chose their favorite colors to decorate it, and sang “Baby Shark” as they played with their creations.

In gym class today, the children did another running relay with their friends. They took turns running to the centre with a ball and passing it to the next team mate in line.

The Word Time Lesson today compared the concepts of sprinkle and soak. The children practiced using water and hand towels to learn the difference in a hands on way.

The children played a speed game to help them remember their vocabulary words. Their teacher called out the vocabulary, and they tried to be the fastest to touch the corresponding card.

The Orange class talked about illnesses today and played a game of charades to help them understand each term.

Some of the elementary levels used their journals to write about their favorite vegetables. They also did spelling games to practice their writing skills.

The Red class used the magic “c” today to learn how to make the letter “a”. They used their workbooks for writing practice.

The children read stories as a class to practice their reading skills. Today’s story was called “A Box Full of Light” and help them practice the “igh/i-e/ie/i” sound.

The Takatsuki students enjoyed some time in the library. They loved all of the princess stories!

To practice their language knowledge, the children did a remembering activity in their Kid’s Box book. They covered half of the page and tried to recall the vocabulary words from the lesson.

The Language & Literacy lesson focused on phonics and emphasizing the beginning sound in words. They tried to identify the pictures on the board and practiced sounding out each object.
