The Yellow class played “Head Bands” to learn general vocabulary words and improve their conversational skills. They described the objects on each other’s headband to help them guess it.

One of today’s writing book lessons was practicing the letter “u”. They wrote the letter as well as “u” words.

The Advanced Classes used adverbs of frequency to journal about their homework routines. They compared; always, never, sometimes and rarely to learn the differences.

The Advanced Yellow class played a word scramble game to help them build their critical thinking, reading and spelling abilities.

During library time, the elementary school aged children enjoyed English books. They read about their favorite characters.

The preschool classes made a paper plate watermelon today for craft. They practiced their fine motor skills and tried to stay in the lines of the plate.

The Sparrows class played a spelling game. The children had to find each letter on the board in order to spell their words for today.

In one of the Kid’s Box lessons, the children did a word search with the vocabulary words. They also made sentences to learn how to use them correctly.

The Word Time lesson today focused on the terms “wind” and “breeze”. They made oysters while their teacher hid Sqwaker and then they searched for him around the room.

The children did “wet, dry, try” to practice their writing skills. They drew the “magic c” to help them create other letters.

The elementary school classes played a running and throwing game in gym time with Shota. They aimed the dodge balls at their teachers and followed the running circuit.
