To learn their vocabulary words, the Yellow class played a game of Hangman. They guessed letters and tried to solve the words as a group.The Orange class played a reading and memory game in teams. One player read the sentence on the board and the rest of their team mates had to find the matching flashcard around the classroom.The Red class wrote about what kinds of pets they want at home to practice their writing skills!The Language and Literacy lesson taught the children all about rainbows. They used crayons to make their own rainbows and practiced identifying each color.In gym class, the children played a “Rock, Paper, Scissors” battle in teams. They competed against each other and when they won, they ran back to tag their team mates.The Advanced Yellow class did a word scramble to help them learn their vocabulary words in the reading and writing lesson.The children always enjoy the educational computer games during the computer lesson.During the reading time, the children were able to choose from some of their favourite stories.Today’s preschool craft was a paper plate snake. The Chicks class colored the plates with their favorite colours and cut the outlines independently for fine motor practice.To help them with their writing skills, the Sparrows Class used their fingers to make a big line down and a little line across. They learned how to make the letter t.The Word Time lesson taught the children the adjectives “tiny” and “huge”. The children talked about tiny animals versus huge animals.After learning how to draw the letter l, the children practiced writing it in their workbooks.At the Takatsuki school, the children used green paint to make their snake crafts!The children practiced the ditty sheets together and talked about wet clothes that drip and drop.
