The Advanced Yellow class wrote about the foods that they enjoy eating around the holidays. They also compared holiday foods in Japan with holiday foods in foreign countries!The preschool classes reviewed numbers in their circle time. They practiced counting using the number cards and then sang “Count and Move”.The Blue class wrote proper nouns in their writing workbooks. They learned about famous countries and cities all over the world.The children practiced reading comprehension using Raz-Kids. They enjoyed playing games and reading stories.During the library time, the children read novels and stories about some of their favourite characters.Today’s craft was all about Santa. The children colored Santa’s body parts and then glued them together. They enjoyed talking about Santa Claus and Christmas!The Sparrows reviewed all single letter phonics during their reading lesson. Their teacher made a sound, and the children did a great job at finding the matching card!The preschool children had fun looking for Sqwaker during the Word Time lesson! The lesson focused on teaching them about our heads and our brains. They used a model of the human body to help them understand these concepts.The elementary classes played four square dodgeball during their gym class.The Advanced Yellow class read “Jade’s Party” during their reading and phonics lesson. They practiced reading with a focus on the “ay/a-e/a” sound.The Advanced Orange and Purple classes wrote about where they want to go for Christmas vacation. They are really looking forward to the upcoming break!
