The elementary school students sang “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?” from the Lion King, in their music lesson with Eri!In gym today, the children did a fun soccer relay. They ran with the ball and then kicked it back to their friends.The preschool children enjoyed the “Language & Literacy” lesson called “Follow Me”. They had to copy their teachers’ actions and patterns.The Red class practiced the letters “b” & “h” in their writing workbooks. They reviewed how we use big lines and small curves to make letters.The Yellow class used their journals to write their favorite excerpt from today’s reading book “The King of the Birds”.The Red class reviewed the phonetic sounds for vowels today. They read “Pep’s Pizza” about a monster who loved to eat!The children worked together to dig holes in the sandbox during outside play!They also loved using the ride-on toys with their teachers for dramatic play.The children walked around the room looking for Sqwaker at the start of the Word Time lesson. Today, they learned the concepts “empty” and “full”.As a part of their language lesson, the Blue class reviewed clothing vocabulary. They compared different clothing and what seasons we wear them in.The Orange class reviewed animals and prepositions in today’s ESL lesson. They placed animals around the classroom and had to describe where each animal was.The preschool topics for today were animals, shapes and numbers. They read a story about animals and practiced their counting skills.The Blue class did a multiplication warm up game. They challenged each other to a battle and had to be the first the say the correct number.The Advanced Yellow class listened to the next “Diggory Bones” episode and answered comprehension questions in their Kid’s Box textbooks.The Taktasuki Wolves learned all about animals in their Kid’s Box book lesson. In one activity, they recalled each animal’s name and put them in alphabetical order.The Takatsuki Cubs reviewed shapes in their circle time. They used their hands and bodies to make all of the shapes in the Music and Movement shape song.The Takatasuki students learned our upcoming theme songs for the month of February, including “The Demon’s Pants” for Setsubun.
