The children are enjoying the new songs for March. They sang “Things That Are Green” and other St. Patrick’s Day themed songs!The Cubs and Owls are reviewing ditty sheets every week to help them with their reading skills.Some of the children drew foods and containers to practice this week’s vocabulary.The preschool classes made a rainbow for craft today. They reviewed colors and did a great job keeping the construction paper in the lines.The children used their hands to make different objects in the “Rock, Scissors, Paper” song.The Red class learned about food and rooms. They talked about what they enjoy eating and practiced offering each other different foods.The Yellow and Orange classes practiced following directions in their language lesson. They also learned about city life and the difference places we frequently go.The Advanced Green class learned about the zoo and zoo animals in their Kid’s Box lesson. They also learned about family and how to identify relatives in English.The Advanced Yellow class played a listening game. Their teacher described a location around the city and the students guessed what it was.The Owls played banana tag in gym time. They practiced working in teams and following directions.
