The preschool classes learned about food in their circle time lesson. They cut out and pasted an outline of their hand, and then used paint to make the flowers!The children played scooter tag with their friends in gym class today. They are really enjoying the different variations of tag.The Red class learned about rooms in the house during their language lesson. They walk around the room to each flashcard, and practiced saying which room they were in.The Advanced Green class continued learning about animals and the zoo in their Kid’s Box textbook. They reviewed prepositions as they discussed where each animal resides.The Advanced Yellow class reviewed natural disasters in their lesson. They played disaster and made sentences using adjectives.The Owls practiced personal introductions during circle time. They told each other their names and how old they are.The Orange class reviewed weather in their Kid’s Box book lesson. They did a matching activity and practiced writing sentences.The Red class played games using phonics cards. They challenged their friends to a game of “Rock, Scissors, Paper” and tried to be the first to say the sound.The children read in the library during reading time. They enjoy choosing their own books to read independently and with friends.The technology time on the iPads is quickly becoming one of their favourite activities.The Foxes played flashcard games to learn about weather and places.
