The children welcomed the Easter Bunny to school today for our annual Easter party!They showed the Easter Bunny their baskets that they made last week for our Easter egg hunt.The children hunted for chocolate eggs and were really excited to find them around the classroom!When the Easter Bunny left, they gave him a big hug to say goodbye.They played fun flashcard games to learn all about Easter and Easter themed vocabulary.The children were able to dye their own eggs using spoons and nets. They chose what colours they wanted for their eggs.In music time, the preschool children sang Easter themed songs to celebrate the event.The children used crayons to make unique patterns and designs on their Easter eggs.The elementary school children made Easter bunnies using construction paper. They constructed it with glue, and then added a face and ears.The Wolves enjoyed hunting for eggs in the Takatsuki gym.The children at Takatsuki continued to learn Easter themed songs on the piano!The Cubs read Easter stories to learn more about the holiday and practice their reading skills.
