This week in our Owls class the children had a lot of really interesting lessons. We started off with our circle time lesson about vocabulary, shapes, and adjectives.Then they had a craft lesson and we learned about caterpillars!The children each cut out their own leaf and then used hanigami paper to crumple up and make a caterpillar of their own.To complete this craft lesson we sat down and read “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric CarleIn gym class today we worked on teamwork and cooperation with some parachute games. The children learned about timing and moving together to achieve their goals.In our Get Set for School lesson the children sang songs that let them move their bodies, learned about parrots and the rainforest, and played a bean bag tossing game!
