This week during circle time we were working on space relationships with shapes and about stacking. We used our vocabulary words to identify ideas and then made a tower with them.

During reading time we partnered up and worked together to sound out the words and talk about the content of stories to build our comprehension skills.

Our younger classes are continuing to work on their upper and lowercase letter formation, while the older children are working hard on their comprehension and writing skills during the workbook activity time.

For our craft and creative project these past few weeks we’ve made our own carrot gardens to work on counting, and the older children had a chance to learn about what makes a telephone work, and tried to make one of their own!

Finally, in our gym classes this week we played an exciting team cooperation version of dodgeball where the children had to move around from section to section in order to win the game.

It’s been a fun and exciting few weeks here at Global Village Saturday Program.  Why don’t you come and join us?
