The Cubs and Owls learned ditty sheet number 12 this week, and practiced reading the “ch” and “sh” sounds.To review clothing vocabulary, the Red and Blue classes played a drawing game in teams. Their team had to recall the clothing vocabulary on the flashcard, and the student at the board had to draw the correct object. During circle time, the Owls reviewed the months of the year with the “Months Chant”.The Yellow class read consonants and vowels in their phonics speed sound review. They have been practicing blending as well as memorizing red words.The Orange class played a word find game with today’s story book. Their teacher read a word and they had to find it in their books.The Red class continued in their writing books today. They learned how to write the letter “u” and practiced writing words with the letter.The Advanced Green class learned about nature vocabulary. They had a spelling bee to practice their writing skills.The Advanced Yellow Class continued to learn about clothing vocabulary in their book lesson. They’ve been discussing fashion trends, and have been learning about the different ways that we can describe clothing. The Owls enjoyed doing handstands in gym class today.The Wolves reviewed adjectives today in their ESL lesson. They learned what they mean, and when we would use them in a sentence.
