The Owls really enjoyed today’s gym game! They faced off against each other while doing crab walks and tried to push their friends out of bounds.The Orange class reviewed health and illnesses in today’s language lesson. They played charades and demonstrated how we feel when we are sick.The Blue and Red classes compared different animals today. They talked about their characteristics and body parts.The Advanced Yellow class made a list of random objects, and then grouped them by the materials that they are made out of.The preschool classes reviewed numbers in today’s circle time. They used the flashcards to identify the numbers, and then used blocks to represent their values.In today’s writing lesson, the Red and Blue classes reviewed the animals that they learned about in circle time and wrote sentences about them. They discussed the number of legs and other body parts, and wrote about their colors too.The Yellow class read “A Box Full of Light” and wrote their favourite sentences from the story.The Red class practiced writing lower case “i” and uppercase “I” in their writing books.The elementary school classes did a spelling test with their vocabulary words for the week.The Orange class learned about counting money and currency in their Kid’s Box book lesson!The preschool classes made a fall tree using their handprint and tissue paper.The Wolves used their tech time to practice reading and spelling games on the iPads.The Cubs practiced writing the letters “S” and “A” in their Handwriting Without Tears workbooks.The children enjoyed singing the new fall and Halloween songs for this month!
